In this session we will discuss best practices for creating an equitable virtual learning environment. We will discuss important considerations and some strategies to help teachers create successful virtual learning spaces for students. Participants will have an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and share resources.

What does equitable instruction look like in a virtual environment?
What is the difference between synchronous and asynchronous virtual learning experiences?
What are best practices for instruction, turning in work, assessments, and problem solving/cooperative learning in an equitable virtual environment?
